Top Qualifier Brian Kinwald finished second, and Mike Truhe rolled into third. All three drove Team Losi Triple-X4 Graphite Plus buggies, as did six of the other Main-makers. Associated's Billy Easton was the only driver not wheeling a Losi (he ran Yokomo's new MR4-BC Special to finish 8th overall). The 4th annual Team Losi Off-Road Championships was hosted by the Minnreg RC Club in Tampa FL, but it may may as well have been called Cavalieriville. Ryan dominated the event by TQing and winning all the Factory electric classes with his Trinity-powered Associated rides. Cavalieri's Sirio-equipped RC10GT was the truck to beat in the Factory Nitro Truck class, but he gave up the win to Team Losi's Adam Drake after Adam exploited his Triple-XNT’s quick-change wheel feature to move into the lead with fresh rubber as Ryan’s GT slowed due to worn tires.

Associated Sweeps Reedy Truck Race

Team Associated’s Ryan Maifield took home the Factory Modified win with his T4 with a pair of second-place finishes and one win in the triple A-Mains. Ryan Cavalieri nabbed second, and Jared Tebo took third, all wheeling Factory Team T4’s. Tebo won the Factory Gas Truck class to no one’s surprise, but he did have to work a little harder than normal to pass teammates Ryan Cavalieri and Maifield for the win. Cavalieri TQ’d gas truck, but unfortunately was out of the race with mechanical trouble for the final 20 minutes of the 45-minute A-Main. Maifield took second and Team Losi/Trinity’s Adam Drake rolled across the line in third.
