Schumacher showed off their all-new Cougar SV 2WD buggy at the Nuremberg Toy Fair. The buggy features a graphite chassis, several graphite components, 13-milimeter shocks (biggest amongst 1/10-scale buggies), a unique pivoting battery brace and a mid-motor chassis configuration. The Cougar also has an interesting way of securing the rear wing with rubber bands so the wing folds back in hard, roll over crashes. The differential height is adjustable by flipping the bearing inserts inside the tranny case. You can run a battery pack down the center of the chassis or a saddle pack for moving the weight further rearward (the images show the standard configuration). Schumacher told us that the buggy should be available in the next month or two.
