I caught up with Mike Truhe last weekend at the JConcepts Indoor Spring Nats where he TQ’d the 2wd modified buggy class. We discussed setup progress on the recently released TLR22 buggy. Mike began to explain how they are running an emulsion shock now and the team is really happy with the car’s current setup. Check out the video below to see Mike’s shock building routine and get the secrets to setting up your 22 the same as the factory TLR drivers.

About the author

I started racing RC cars in the mid 90¹s and quickly developed a passion for the hobby. After a lengthy hiatus, nitro off-road racing got the best of me and I don¹t see myself taking another break anytime soon. I enjoy being behind my camera at races almost as much as being behind the wheel. When I'm not racing or writing about RC I stay very active playing hockey, soccer, biking, traveling as much as possible and of course, shooting tons of photos.
