Latest race news from Losi:
Jake Wright (left) and Jay Robinette finished 1-2 in the 1.9 Class
This past weekend, the Team Losi Racing Crawler team attended the 2010 East Coast Championships in Sand Rock, Alabama. With the popularity of 1.9 competition continuing to grow and some of the best drivers in the Country attending, the team knew they would have their hands full. Using the latest version of the prototype Mini Rock Crawler which was used to win the 2009 World Championships, Team Drivers Jake Wright and Jay Robinette went 1-2 in the highly competitive 1.9 class with fellow Team Driver Nabil Jamail finishing in the top 10. All the Team drivers used Xcelorin Brushless systems to power their Crawlers in addition to many of the Losi hop ups available. Jake and Jay also debuted the New LOSA1379 “Mini Grappler Pro” body.
With Team Losi capturing some big 1.9 class wins and continuing to develop the prototype chassis for the Mini, is a competition level kit around the corner? When questioned, Losi wouldn’t confirm nor deny, so only time will tell.
