Dana was after a super scale rock crawler that looked like nothing else anybody had so he turned to Pimpin Crawlers. They constructed this custom 4-door Toyota Hilux using an RC4WD shell as well as the cage beneath it to fit Dana’s chosen Vanquish VS4-10 Pro chassis. To help it power over obstacles Dana chose a 2300kv brushless motor and Axe speed control from Hobby Wing. Grip comes from Voodoo KLR/M tires with Crawler Innovations foams on 1.9 Vanquish V2 101 wheels rolling on a set of Ultra F9 portal axles also from Vanquish. The worn crawler look comes courtesy of a Krypton red base coat with some rust effects added in.
