Traxxas TRX-4 50mph+ Speed Build [VIDEO]

The Traxxas TRX-4 has proven itself as a Scale & Trail crawling platform – but we decided to do what we do best at Traxxas and tune one for extreme speed! Not only did we strive to achieve 50mph+ from this build, but we wanted to see what it would look like tackling some of our local dirt jumps. While we don’t exactly recommend any of these modifications, things went…well. 👍

Full List of Parts Used:

• Stock TRX4 Tactical Chassis
• VXL6s esc on a VXL3s mounting plate
• ET 2400 Funny Car Motor (Castle 1415 1y 2400kv will also work)
• 22t/39 pinion/spur.
• Traxxas 2.2 bead lock wheels/tires
• Traxxas TQI with Bluetooth module
• Traxxas telemetry expander and GPS unit
• Traxxas 4s 5000 LiPo

Full list of Parts Removed:

• Fender flares
• Front bumper
• Fender wells
• Body cut for tire ballooning
• Nerf bars removed during video
• Spare tire removed as well as gas cans and jack
