The RC Pro Rack Elite 1/10 display rack is designed as the perfect way to showcase and store your favorite 1/10 and 1/8 scale RC vehicles. Precision laser cut from stainless steel, RC Pro Racks are made to be some of the most durable display stands available in the industry. The slotted design of the mounting cradle allows for adjustment and leveling to accommodate differently styled vehicles and angled mounting surfaces.

The Elite model includes a cupped cradle section on the stand, along with modified rack arms allowing for tabletop stability when used as a display stand. Additionally, the Elite model is ideally suited for crawlers and similar link-style suspension trucks up to 11 inches wide. Each RC Pro Rack can be easily installed and removed from the wall thanks to the keyhole style screw holes. This allows for the rack to be removed and used as a tabletop display in addition to its wall-mounted functionality. The RC Pro Rack Elite comes with all the necessary hardware for assembly along with a detailed instruction guide hidden within the packaging card.

TESTING

Right out of the package the RC Pro Rack Elite feels sturdy and well-made. All parts are precision-cut and cleanly finished with no perceivable sharp edges, a true mark of quality craftsmanship. All parts are cleanly wrapped and packaged along with the necessary hardware to assemble the rack. The rack is cut from mild stainless steel, which comes uncoated from the manufacturer. This means that there will most likely be a bit of surface rust on the pieces when you pull them from the packaging; this is a completely normal thing for mild steel and not something to worry about. Any surface rust can easily be cleaned off with a scuff pad or left alone if you like that kind of look.

If clean raw metal is the look you’re going for, we highly suggest applying a clear coat or simply wiping down the stand with a thin layer of oil. Just be sure to apply the included foam cradle pad before applying any kind of oil to the surface. Alternatively, a simple etching primer and your favorite can of spray paint will be a quick and easy way to paint the stand whatever color you desire while protecting it from corrosion. Given the high quality of the materials and included hardware when compared to the stand’s price point, parts arriving uncoated is completely understandable and simply adds to the customization options we have with this excellent piece of kit.

The overall design of the stand feels solid when assembled, giving a sense of support and security in the platform. Once mounted to the wall, it was easy to put a vehicle on the cradle, giving it a place to rest without any stress being put on the tires, the tire foams or the suspension. The RC Pro Rack provides a great way to display your most prized RC vehicles in a secure and stylish fashion. Enjoying our hobby certainly has a lot to do with driving our vehicles, but it can be just as satisfying when they’re set up on a great-looking display.
