Teaser: JConcepts S15 1/8 Truggy Prototype Clear Body

JConcepts has several new and prototype items in competition at The Dirt Nitro Challenge. The first shown, an S15 body for the 1/8th Truck class shown here on the Team Associated RC8T3e in the Spencer Rivkin alternate paint scheme. Like the F2 body, this will mount to just about any truggy on the market and quite versatile between nitro and electric platforms.

JConcepts debuted their behind shock tower F2 body during the 2021 ROAR Fuel Nationals in Oakland Mills, PA to a TQ and 1st place in the hands of Ryan Maifield. Since that time, several have sampled many of the JConcepts styling cues, but, there is nothing quite like an original. The S15 brings over some of the side-pod winglets from the IFMAR World Championship winning buggy body. Also, the roof now features center stabilizing fin and one-piece side windows from the popular JC buggy body designs.

Also, front end aero is a focus with the adaption of Carpet | Turf | Dirt wing in miniature version to now accommodate a truggy. Front wings are a staple of a successful buggy and now, can be fitted to popular truggies from JConcepts.

About the Silencer body design –

The Silencer body line from JConcepts is the gold standard when it comes to 1/8th off-road buggy performance. Originally crafted for the 2012 IFMAR World Championships in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the Silencer has undergone routine changes throughout the years without sacrificing performance or reliability. Over the years, the S1, as it is named, has been made available for the latest cars from Team Associated, Mugen, TLR, Tekno, and HB Racing.

In the hands of Ryan Maifield, the Silencer body is a champion at the toughest event in the world, The Dirt Nitro Challenge, and the largest event in the world, the Psycho Nitro Blast.
