#TBT RC10 Mid Motor Conversion Covered in September 1988

#TBT Since around 2014 mid-motor 2WD off-road buggies have been the design that most companies use now thanks to the popularity of indoor high grip clay/dirt track & also carpet racing surfaces. But did you know that you could convert your Team Associated RC10 to a mid-motor machine back in 1988? As you can see in this old ad from the September 1988 issue of Radio Control Car Action Magazine there was a company in California that offered a conversion kit complete with a graphite chassis those much-needed battery slots.
