Serpent RTR Medius X20 1/10 Electric Touring Car

Serpent 190mm 1/10 scale ready-to-Race Touring car, based on the successful X20 race-cars. Factory assembled, with race-wheel-tyres, pre-cut and pre painted body, Dragon-RC electronic speedo, Dragon-RC brushless 13.5T motor, Dragon-RC DTS-3 2.4ghZ transmitter. The full package to start racing in the electric touring car category or just race anywhere for fun.

Chassis

Super narrow, symmetrical , durable carbon chassis plate with optimized flex design, countersunk holes, central section holes all perfectly in center, pockets for gear diff, spool and spur.

top deck

Durable carbon top deck with optimized flex design.

Battery-mount brackets and Lipo-holders

Easy to use nylon batter tape holder, which allow the battery tape to run over instead of under the chassis. The holders can be reversed for other battery position. The Lipo holders will securely keep the Lipo in place, also at hard impact.

shock tower front

Black nylon shock tower with 2 upper shock mounting holes to choose from.

Black nylon shock tower with 2 upper shock mounting holes to choose from . The rear body post are mounted to the top of the rear shock tower.

Front suspension

Moulded front brackets, with belt tension adjusting through excenters. Durable lower rear wishbones connected pivot balls to the chassis. An anti-roll bar system can be mounted as option.

Rear suspension

Moulded rear brackets, with belt tension adjusting through excenters.

Motor mount

Machined aluminum motor mount / middle shaft support.

Ball raced middle shaft with 2 small pully’s and the main Serpent spur gear.

Bumper/Bodymount

Large foam front bumper captured by a upper and lower nylon bumper
Front bodymount is mounted through the front bumper, and the rear ones are seated on the shock tower. Multiple body posiiton holes to choose from.

Gear-diff

Very compact ball raced gear differential in the rear, with steel gears and axles for durability. Super smooth.

Spool

Front nylon lightweight spool with screw mounted front gear pully

Transmission / belts / pullies

Smooth low friction fine pitch belts combined with optimized nylon pulley’s

Driveshaft / wheel hex / wheel axle

Steel driveshafts, combined with ball raced wheel axles and nylon wheel-hex adaptors

Steering system

Steering system with optimized ackermann for neutral steering-feeling.

Shock absorbers

Latest type competition shock absorbers with membranes and checked color-coded race springs.

Tyres-wheels

The X20 RTR is fitted with Dragon-RC rubber racing tyres with foam inlays on Serpent TC wheels for super-grip.

Body:

The EFRA approved 1/10 scale Serpent TC body Lex-is fitted, fully pre-cut and pre-painted in a superb paint job with 4 colors (Orange-Red-Blue-Green).

Optionals / upgrading

The Serpent X20 RTR is based on the high end race version of the X20. Most parts from the X20 race-version and also Most optionals, also fit the X20 RTR. This allows you to upgrade your X20 RTR to a higher level race spec step by step, with the parts you select. The X20 RTR parts manual shows those parts, and you can find them in the optionals section of the X20 RTR as well.

Manual and decals:

Full color owner’s manual with info on car and electronics, has all exploded views for easy parts-finding and detailed list with spare parts and optionals. Decal-sheet with Serpent and X20 logos are included as well.

Packing

The X20 RTR comes in a strong carton box with full color printing.

The Serpent X20 Ready-to-race offers a complete package to enjoy running anywhere outdoors on even surfaces / parking lots or even join any indoor or outdoor race.
