Further Description/Back Story As soon as I saw that FMS Hobby was coming out with a FCX24 version of their Unimog, which was officially licensed by Mercedes-Benz, I knew I had to get one! I love the look of the old, rounded COE Unimog, which always reminded me of a little French bulldog. I had a 1/28 scale PlayStation Porsche livery already, and the gray Unimog was the same color as the original PlayStation, so I decided to create a Dakar Rally style PlayStation Unimog! I built the bed box out of styrene sheets, square and round tubes, and used an old set of wheels as spares in the back. The box is held in by the tabs in the bed sides and is easily removable. I also trimmed the front wheel hubs, removed the rear wheel hubs, and added brake and reverse lights made from Sleek RC roof rack lights. It turned out exactly how I wanted it to!
