| Further Description/Back Story | I thrive on taking RTR rc models and adding a special flare to each build. This Losi Tenacity DB Pro (Fox Livery version) comes ready to rock right out of the box! So making the buggy better became the challenge. I started with upgrading the the steering servo to a matching gold Savox SC-1257TG Super Speed Titanium Gear Digital unit. The steering assembly was upgraded to a Exotek Tenacity HD Pro unit. The motor and esc are factory Spectrum units with a FAN BLASTER, 40MM, alloy shroud from Exotek. The car was built in mind as a limited edition "Desert Sand" version from Losi (Joking of course) so I chose the Proline Short Course Bead-loc wheels with Proline Mohawk SC front and Slingshot SC rear paddles for the rear.
I changed out the factory all white rear wing to a "black" replacement carefully removing the factory decals to the new wing to look more sinister. The interior driver and passenger helmets were repainted and touched up as well. The buggy racing navigator sports a Rugged Radios communication system including a HD Go-Pro helmet camera. A pair of scale detailed easy access roll cage mounted safety fire extinguishers and a final touch was applying a total of 34 matching industry racing decals on each side of the buggy from MCI-racing without making it look to overdone. I had to stretch my imagination a bit on this build because Losi did such an amazing job on this car straight out of the box. |
