OVER A GRAND OF UPGRADES

Introducing the 2024 Limited Edition Traxxas XRT Ultimate. This new model is equipped with over $1,000 worth of high-strength aluminum and performance upgrades, including the latest belted Gravix tires.

The XRT Ultimate is outfitted with heaps of Traxxas upgrades including high-strength aluminum and performance parts, Traxxas Link Wireless Module and more. These upgrades help to elevate the XRT Ultimate’s already impressive strength and performance, making it arguably the toughest truck ever to wear the Traxxas name.

One of the key features of the XRT Ultimate is its substantial aluminum upgrades in key areas such as suspension, chassis, drivetrain, and steering. Even the wheelie bar’s wheels have been upgraded to aluminum, featuring sealed ball bearings. These upgrades improve high-speed stability and precision, ensuring the XRT Ultimate can handle extreme 8S power and speed with ease.

This limited edition truck features an exclusive Traxxas ProGrafix body that will let everyone immediately know that you have an Ultimate version of the XRT. The ProGraphix clipless body is not just eye-catching; it’s also practical. It effortlessly snaps into place, ensuring a secure latch, a sturdy internal frame, and extra features such as dual cold-air intakes and a high-downforce rear wing.

We added Traxxas paddle tires to this XRT to better take on the loose terrain we drove it on.

The XRT’s low-slung chassis allows the truck to hug the ground for a lower center of gravity. This equates to nimble handling and a sharp driving response.

TRAXXAS TECHNOLOGY
The included Traxxas Link Wireless Module allows you to take full advantage of the XRT Ultimate’s on-board telemetry. The free Traxxas Link app lets you make micro-adjustments to the transmitter and view real-time telemetry data like speed, RPM, and battery voltage on your mobile device.

The XRT Ultimate also features Traxxas Stability Management (TSM) technology, which improves straight-line acceleration and braking on challenging surfaces. The TSM system is adjustable from the transmitter, allowing for customization without compromising performance.

The XRT Ultimate’s belted Gravix tires deliver game-changing performance on the track or in the wild. The directional tread pattern provides excellent traction and runs quieter than typical off-road tires, while the lightweight belting in the carcass maintains the tire’s shape for a larger contact patch, more grip, and responsive handling at any speed.

Under the hood, the XRT Ultimate is powered by a Velineon 1200XL Brushless Motor, a “Big Block” powerhouse with a 4-pole 1275 kV configuration. The motor is paired with a VXL-8s Waterproof Electronic Speed Control, which provides aggressive tuning for enhanced power across all RPM ranges.

Blasting Away
Our sample was powered by two 4S Traxxas LiPo battery packs, which made the 8S truck a blast to drive. Not only was it powerful, but it was easy to maneuver as well. The TSM system clearly did its job. We also outfitted it with Traxxas paddle tires to take advantage of the sandy area that we tested the XRT in. As you can probably imagine, we were all smiles when we were behind the wheel of this beast.
