October 2003: RC10B4 vs. XXX Kinwald [FLASHBACK]

Cab-forward bodies? 2.4GHz? Brushless and LiPo? Mid-motor? All that stuff was still years away in 2003, when we put Team Associated’s RC10B4 and Team Losi’s XXX Kinwald Edition up against each other with identical gear onboard. Epic (Trinity) matched packs, Fantom stock motors, and Novak (RIP) speed controls…good times. Note the Novak Xxtra receiver, which let you set your frequency with dials instead of crystals.
