LITTLE UGLIES RC – The Little Company That’s Reinventing Little Crawlers

It’s no secret that sub-1/10-scale RC vehicles are gaining popularity as of late, with plenty of enthusiasts diverting their attention from larger RCs to these mighty miniatures. Unlike toy-grade RCs of the past, these new-generation small-scale RCs are incredibly capable and drive much like their big brothers.

A company that has been preaching the positive points of 1/24-scale RC crawlers from early on is Little Uglies RC. The brand offers everything you need to modify and upgrade your Axial SCX24 crawler and then some. In fact, the company offers so many different parts that you can in fact build a Little Uglies RC 1/24-scale crawler using all aftermarket parts. That’s impressive if you ask us.

We are so impressed with their offerings, in fact, that we went ahead and gathered every part from Little Uglies RC to build our own pint-sized crawler. Some of the parts highlights include their Knuckle Dragger LCG carbon fiber plate chassis, aluminum beadlock wheels, and even an all-metal gearbox and tiny adjustable coilover shocks. We’re pretty excited to build our Little Ugly, so stay tuned to a future issue to see how ours turns out.
