Latest race news from Kyosho:
The 1st Annual PRCR Invitational was held this past weekend in Portland, Oregon at Portland R/C Raceway. This is the home track for Kyosho America & Peak Racing Team Manager Joe Pillars. JP helped organize this event and would also race. The goal was to have the top drivers from each of the 3 major manufactures in attendance (Kyosho, Associated, Losi). This would become reality with Jared Tebo attending from Kyosho/Team Orion, Ryan Cavalieri attending from Team Associated/Team Orion and Dustin Evans attending for Team Losi/X-Celorin. The race would consist of over 100 entries after everything was calculated.
The race format consisted of 3-6 Minute Qualifiers using the Rocket Round format (single fastest run counts) on Saturday. Then Sunday the lower main bump-ups would be ran first, followed by Triple A-Mains for all classes. The top 7 drivers after qualifying would go straight to the A-Main with a 1 car bum-up from the lower mains.
