CRAWL- WORTHY – Getting Started With the Element RC Enduro Sendero HD Trail Truck

Whether you’re a seasoned RC enthusiast or just starting your journey into the world of radio-controlled crawlers, the Enduro Sendero HD Trail Truck is a noteworthy choice that combines versatility and customization options for an unparalleled off-road experience.

Element RC’s Enduro Sendero has been around for some time now, and this latest iteration builds upon the years of experience the Element RC team has accumulated on the trail. This version of the Enduro Sendero HD is the most refined version of the ready to run (RTR) truck to date.

A POWERFUL DRIVETRAIN
At the core of the Enduro Sendero HD is the groundbreaking Stealth X gearbox. While its exterior might resemble a conventional three-gear transmission, it conceals an innovative interior that sets it apart from the ordinary.

The Stealth X introduces a unique feature that allows you to independently adjust the rear drive ratio compared to the front drive, with three distinct levels of customization. The stock setup provides a 5.7% overdrive to the front end and is pre-installed in the RTR version. Option 1 offers a one-to-one drive ratio front-to-rear, which is available separately; Option 2 cranks up the overdrive to 11.83% and is included with this RTR. This level of drivetrain flexibility ensures that you can tailor your crawler’s performance to conquer a wide range of terrains and challenges.

Crawling requires a robust driveline and the Sendero is outfitted for the challenge. Powering this impressive crawler are three-piece telescopic driveshafts featuring an extruded aluminum center section, universal front drive axles and hardened steel ring and pinion gears. These components work in harmony to deliver reliable and substantial power to the tires, ensuring you can tackle the most demanding trails with ease.

One notable engineering enhancement is the relocation of the steering link assembly to the rear of the axle, a design known as Behind The Axle (BTA). This strategic move significantly improves approach angles and front-end clearance, making it a breeze to navigate rough and rocky terrain. The Enduro Sendero HD is built to endure and adapt to the challenges that off-road adventures throw its way.
