Recently it was announced that the Airtronics brand would be discontinued by parent company Sanwa, leaving many sponsored drivers in limbo. Yes, some of the Airtronics products will be rebadged and sold under the Sanwa label, but agreements between drivers and the Japanese company would have to go through new negotiations. It was only a matter of time before we saw those affects and one of them includes multi-IFMAR World Champion and Team Associated Factory Team Driver Ryan Cavalieri switching to Savox servos. Cavalieri commented on his new equipment: “The centering torque and control were amazing. I felt much more connected to the car.” But, the story doesn’t end there and on-road specialist and fellow Team Associated Factory Driver Randy Caster will also be making the switch. Randy is a big part of Team Associated’s touring car program and will be competing in the Invitational Class at the upcoming 2016 Reedy Touring car Race of Champions using Savox’s shorty servos. The two new drivers will be joining HB/HPI Racing’s Ty Tessmann in a star team of Elite-level drivers.

HB/HPI Racing’s Ty Tessmann has been a part of the Savox team and uses the servos in all of his vehicles.
