TLR’s Dakotah Phend sweeps ROAR Electric 1/8-Scale and 4×4 SCT Nationals

Team Losi Racing phenom Dakotah Phend needed a push broom to collect all the hardware he earned last weekend at Gulf Coast Raceway in Porter, TX. Hot off the 2WD Modified Buggy win at the Cactus Classic, Phend added three more national titles to his resume with a dominating performance at the ROAR National Championship for 1/8-Scale Electric Buggy, 1/8-Scale Electric Truck, and 4×4 Short Course. To say that Phend was in control all weekend is an understatement – he set the top qualifying time in 11 of the 12 rounds across all three classes ahead of stiff competition. Here are the podium photos of all three divisions courtesy of TLR:

I've done it all - from working at a hobby shop, to being a factory sponsored racer, to working for some of the biggest brands in the industry. I've enjoyed each and every one of the dozens of kits I've built, hundreds of events I've attended, and thousands of laps that I've logged at race tracks around the world, and my passion is to share those experiences with other hobbyists so that they may find fulfillment in their own RC careers.
