Don’t miss out! RCX 2011 Show Coverage
Couldn’t make it to RCX in California this year? Well, we have a lot of good news. First, you can check out all of the action online at RCCarAction.com. We have dozens of videos that take you right to the show floor and even behind the scenes. It gets even better. In August, the RCX show will be in Chicago, IL! That awesome event will be followed by a RCX show in Orlando, FL. After that the California show is moving from Pomona to Long Beach. RCX is on the move!

Get Some Hot Wheels
When Pro-Line recently announced a new line of 2.8″ tires to fit stock Traxxas rims, the speculation was that a new Pro-Line rim would follow to match the tires. It turns out that is indeed the case. No information is yet available on the name of the rim, but it is a one-piece molded Multi-spoke plastic rim with the look of bead-lock rim.

Be a Street Killer! DuraTrax Unveils New On-road Motorcycle
DuraTrax has an on-road street warrior to accompany its DX450 dirt bike. The new bike, the DXR500, is said to be 1/5-scale just like its off-road cousin. Features include an air-charged front fork and a fluid-filled rear shock. A mechanical gyro in the rear wheel helps you keep the bike upright and the bike arrives assembled and ready for street action. The DXR500 is also brushless powered and includes a 2.4Ghz radio system.
Traxxas Sponsored SX Racer Gets Second Win
Dean Wilson, running in the 250 class and sponsored by Traxxas, was able to achieve his second victory this season in the AMA Supercross series. Wilson scored this win at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Canada. Riding a Kawasaki KX250F, this was Wilson second career win.

Peanut goes With Reedy
Long-time pro racer Travis “Peanut” Amezcua has re-signed with Reedy and LRP for the 2011 racing season. Amezcua races the team products, but also plays a role in new product development. Travis stated, “I’m excited to re-sign with Reedy and LRP for the 2011 season. With this proven combo powering my 2WD, 4WD, and 1/8-scale buggies, and my 2WD short course, I’ll definitely enjoy a competitive advantage.”
