“Last weekend on March 27 2011, I finally raced my Caster pro Fusion 1.5 e-buggy. I came in 1st in the first qualifier and got TQ. The second qualifier I came in 1st again beating my own TQ. The third qualifier I came in second and lost my own TQ.
Then the mains came, I started in second place. I lead about 96% of the race, then on the last lap over a jump I got passed and then came in second. The person that passed me was Mike Sontag (the track owner and builder). Then we had to go around the track once more and I came in second place. I was only behind him about 4 seconds. I was so proud of myself for coming in second place in my first race with the buggy. Hopefully I can keep it up and spread the word about Caster Racing.”
Mike from Caster Racing USA said “We have seen several kids through the years progress into industry veterans and we wanted to try to help some of the kids that show potential. It certainly helps the parents lower their expenses a little and it helps the kids learn professionalism and hopefully learn progressive skills that might make them the next Dakotah Phend who in turn might be the next Jared Tebo. Our cars are great handling and we have worked really hard on making them as durable as anything out there. It really helps the kids to know that the car will go exactly where they want it and that it will make it to the end of the race.”
