Speedline Hobbies, Largo, FL: Atsushi Hara absolutely dominated the Modified class and even lapped the entire field in every qualifier and in both of the Mains to take the championship. With a win in 19-turn, Team Losi’s Matt Francis showed he still has what it takes as he enters his self-proclaimed last season of racing. Drew Ellis of Team XRAY/RC America earned his first National championship with a win in Stock Touring. Mike Lufaso won the 1/12-scale Modified class to give LRP/Reedy a second National title using brushless powera feat yet to be matched.
