We’ve Got ARRMA’s new OUTCAST and FAZON

The Arrma Outcast and Fazon have arrived at the Car Action offices and we tore into the boxes and took a few shots so you can check them out. You can scroll down to see some of the features of these new trucks starting with the Outcast. You can also check out the official press release for the Outcast here and the Fazon can be found here.

Check out the body on the Outcast. It’s a 60s style truck and has a great aggressive look. The front bumper and roll bar do a great job of adding to the scale look. The pull tabs on the body clips are a nice touch.

See the small holes on top of the roll bar? Those are there so you can insert lighter flints into it. Once they are in place sparks will shower out the back of the truck when it skids along it’s roof on pavement or rocks.

The Outcast comes with aggressive motocross style tires that are sure to give the truck great traction on all surfaces.

A wheelie bar is included but it’s not adjustable. Rubber on the wheels help cushion the blow when they hit the ground.

A 1/8-scale buggy chassis gives the Outcast a short wheelbase which makes it easier for it to do tricks. The small plastic stand in the middle adds support to the center of the body.

A pivot ball front suspension lets you quickly adjust camber, castor and front width. The rear end gets a standard H-arm with adjustable upper link suspension.

Now for the Fazon which is a truck based on the Nero monster truck. The body looks like something that we would see in the future and this truck comes with a low profile all-terrain tread on the tires.

This truck also gets a wheelie bar but this one is adjustable and has some give and rubber coated tires to absorb hard impacts with the ground.

I really like the look of the Fazon’s chassis; it’s unique and not something we see ever day.

The batteries are loaded in from the bottom and foam blocks along with foam on the doors cushion the ride for the batteries.

The speed control is able to handle up to 6S of LiPo power and a large brushless fan on top keeps it cool.

A 2000Kv 1/8-scale brushless motor provides plenty of power and fins on the can help with cooling.

The shocks are mounted inboard on the chassis and have multiple mounting positions on the shock mounts.Threaded aluminum bodies allow for precise ride height adjustment.

The Fazon has pivot ball suspension on all four corners. The front allows you to adjust width, camber and castor while in the rear you can change width, camber and toe.
