FIRST PERSON VIEW – FMS ALU35 RTR with FPV Redefines The RC Driving Experience

FMS, known for its innovative RC models, has launched the ALU35 RTR with FPV, a groundbreaking 1/64-scale RC vehicle that offers a new dimension of excitement. This model represents FMS’s first venture into FPV (First Person View) technology in 1/64 scale, bringing an immersive driving experience like never before.

At the core of the ALU35’s innovation is its FPV system, which includes a magnetic quick-release camera mounted on the car’s roof and FPV goggles. This system allows drivers to seamlessly switch between traditional third-person view and an immersive first-person view. Driving from the driver’s seat perspective adds a new level of thrill and fun and enhances the overall driving experience.

At 1/64 scale, the cartoony FMS ALU35 looks a lot like Choro-Q “Penny Racer” Nissan R35 Skylines. They can be driven sans-camera for a more traditional RC driving experience.

FPV
The ALU35’s FPV system features real-time low-latency goggles with a video time delay of less than 0.01ms, providing it with a live, first-person visual experience that is incredibly responsive and immersive.
When wearing the FPV goggles, drivers are

transported into a “Honey I Shrunk the Kids” type of world, where they visually experience speeds of 25-30 mph but aren’t going nearly that speed. This heightened sensation of speed delivers an unparalleled thrill and visual excitement. The “speed” also challenges drivers’ skills and reflexes with every drive.

The ALU35 comes with a complete first-person-view kit including goggles and roof-mounted camera.

At 1/64 scale, the single-motor, rear-wheel-drive ALU35 may be incredibly small for an RC car, but it features remote-controlled headlights, undercarriage ambient light, turn signals, brake lights and taillights. These lighting features not only enhance the car’s realism but also improve the driving experience.

ALU35 delivers endless fun, rivaling larger-scale RC cars. Its small size allows for enjoyable play in limited spaces, offering endless joy. The ALU35’s unique shape and adorable design give it a cartoon-like appearance, adding to the fun.

As small as it is, the car also includes plenty of LED lighting features.

FINAL WORD
The FMS ALU35 RTR with FPV is an interesting innovation that may show what’s to come in the future of RC vehicles. The innovative FPV system, coupled with its compact size and unique design, delivers an unparalleled driving experience that is sure to thrill both beginners and experienced RC enthusiasts alike. We can’t wait to see this system on a 1/10-scale vehicle—one perhaps with a driver’s head that turns when yours does. That would truly take surface FPV to another level.
