X Factory Carbon Fiber Rear Tower Brace For The TLR 22

X Factory announces its slick new Infinity carbon fiber rear tower brace for the TLR 22 buggy. The kit moves the rear shocks from the back of the tower & arms to the front on the TLR 22 3.0 with 3-gear laydown transmission. Take your car to the next level. Take it to Infinity!

Initially developed by nationally-known driver J.P. Richards, with final design touches applied by X Factory Chief Engineer Paul Sinclair and produced in-house by X Factory, this new rear tower brace has many advantages over the standard lay-out. Shocks are aluminum, full of oil, and high, so moving them forward moves this weight closer to the C.O.G.

J.P. and Paul agree that, in stock form, there is much flex in the plastic tower and the rear arms flex before the shock has a chance to work. The carbon fiber brace stiffens the tower and forward shocks control the motion of the arms better. Richards has been running the prototype more than a month and says, “My car jumps better with the stiffer tower and better arm control. It pushes off the jump face better and lands better. My car is also more consistent in corners, especially on-power during exit. The car can be driven harder through every corner and over every jump.”
