If you caught my review on the TQ Racing SX10 4w (www.tqracing.net) in the November 2010 issue of RC Car Action, you would have read that I had nothing but positive reviews for this car. Well, it’s been months now since I threw this 1/10th scale 4wd buggy on the track and I’m happy to report the SX10 4w is still laying down the solid lines and fast lap times. I recently have been testing/racing at SDRC Raceway in Miramar, Ca (www.sdrcraceway.com). When SDRC first opened its doors a couple months back, the dirt was initially loamy, medium traction; which the SX10 had no problem slicing and dicing through the track and through traffic. Recently, SDRC updated their dirt and the conditions are now blue groove, high bite traction and with a few set up changes (firmed up the suspension) the SX10 is on rails! This caters nicely to my on-road racing background. Throughout my racing adventures with the SX10 4w, durability has been extremely well with only breaking a arm and hub. Looking forward to many more racing days with this rig. 🙂
