Daniel Porter is a big fan of everything Traxxas, but he wanted to give his 4-Tec a retro-muscle look. He loved the style of Protoform’s ’68 Mustang shell, so on it went. But he didn’t stop there. He swapped in Castle electronics with a separate BEC and added an external capacitor to the speed control to make power flow smoother. He also added a set of camber links to the rear end to tidy up the handling. One of Dan’s heroes is Ken Block, and he loves the style of the Hoonicorn. When one of his buddies told him about a set of molded plastic turbos, he knew they would be just the thing to top off the hood on his Mustang, bracketed by some “Hoonigan” graphics, of course!
