Traxxas Link Wireless Module B

Tweaked TX4 Sport

Tweaked TX4 Sport

Peter tells us he mainly refurbishes and modifies RTR trucks, or vehicles he’s traded for that were originally assembled by their previous owners. He decided he wanted to do a build-up of a brand new kit but budget was still a factor so the platform he chose was the TRX4 Sport from Traxxas and he chose his upgrades strategically. He beefed up the driveline with a Hot Racing steel spur gear and a set of Yeah Racing steel drive shafts. Motor and axles are stock Traxxas but he upgraded the steering servo to a Raw 500 from Reef’s RC controlled by a Fly-Sky 6-channel radio and added a Gens Ace 3S Lipo. The most visible improvements are the scale items. There’s a complete Traxxas light system with a Castle waterproof BEC, a set of DSM off-road recovery straps, and various other items like gas cans, a shovel and a scale jack on an expedition roof rack under a cargo net.
