Traxxas Starts Weekend at Crandon With Two Pro Wins

Earlier this year Round 4 of the Traxxas TORC series was cancelled due to rain that soaked the Crandon International Raceway track in Crandon, WI. The race was rescheduled and added to the series’ second visit to Crandon and held on Friday evening before Saturday’s Round 9 and Sunday’s Round 10 racing.

The PRO LIGHT class was up first and Traxxas’ Andrew Caddell was challenged at times by Brad Lovell and the rest of the field, but Caddell took advantage of his starting line hole shot and led the whole race.

PRO 4X4 ran second and this time the bright orange truck of Adrian Cenni took top honors with an impressively fast run. Traxxas’s Mark Jenkins was involved in a serious fight for a podium finish until he went off track right at the finish line at about the halfway mark.

The PRO 2 was another close race with a lot of pressure put on the leader. Veteran Jeff Kincaid led from flag to flag and gave Traxxas its second win.

The best race of the day also was another team Traxxas win. CJ Geaves, son of PRO 4X4 driver Johhny Greaves, pulled off a last turn pass to win the Super Buggy class by only inches.
