Traxxas Slash Drag RAIL? It’s Happening! Project RCRI Build Coming Soon

This will be fun: we’re going to build up one of RC Racing Innovation‘s soon-to-be-released Top Fuel Dragster kits for the Traxxas Slash / Rustler / Bandit. As you can see, it’s one rad ride. The 3mm epoxy-resin chassis accepts 2S and 3S packs, and is built for pure straight-line speed with a rigid front end and 6-inch wheelie bar. Cool kit, stay tuned. In the meantime, let’s take a closer look…

The aluminum parts aren’t included, and are not required–you can use your stock Traxxas parts.

 

Note the bracing that locks out suspension movement.

 

The 6-inch wheelie bar is included. Slick.

 

Another angle on the wheelie bar, with turnbuckle to provide bracing (and adjust height a few millimeters, we assume).

 

The epoxy-resin “fiberglass” construction looks super clean. It’s all made in the USA by RCRI.

 

A body is not included. This one appears to be an RJ Speed 1013.
