Team Losi Racing Wins At 2011 TLR Central States Rock Crawling Championships

The TLR Central States Rock Crawling Championship took place at the Hobby Town USA Hobbyplex in Omaha, NE. TLR Driver and 2 time World Champion Jay Robinette continued his reign in the 1.9 Pro Class taking the win by over 50 points! Jay used his TLR Mini Rock Crawler Pro to pick his way through the challenging courses. In the 2.2 Class, Jay came up just a bit short with a 2nd place finish. For the first time, a “Mini Rock Crawler Pro” Spec class was held. With an entry fee of $100, each driver received a brand new Mini Rock Crawler Pro kit that driver had to use “out of the box” Drivers were allowed to install their own electronics and there was a weight limit imposed. 19 Drivers competed in this class. With all drivers equally taking advantage of the MRC Pros tuning and hopped up parts, it would come down to driving talents. Josh Thiede took the win with Shawn Morgan, Aaron Stephenson, Benjamin Olson and Robert Wohletz rounding out the top 5.

Congratulations to Hobby Town and the Nebraska Scale Crawlers Association for putting on a great event.
