Tamiya America “TCS” Champions Crowned

The Tamiya Championship Series Finals took place, wrapping up its 17th racing season in Aliso Viejo, CA crowning six division winners. The regional events were held by participating hobby shops all over the country, leading up to the series final, in order to determine who would compete to become the national champion and who would represent the United Sates and Canada at the Tamiya World Championships. Division winners include: M-Chassis: Brandon Kosloski, GT-2: John Catricala, F-1: Austin Brumblay, GT-1: Henry Szeto, Novice Spec: Joshua Hill and Front Wheel Drive: Rod Canare.

The winners from the M-Chassis, GT-2 and F-1 divisions will continue on to compete in the Tamiya World Championships this November in Shizuoka, Japan home of Tamiya, Inc. Racers from around the globe will attend this event for a chance to win the Tamiya World Title. Finalists will also be given a tour of the Tamiya facilities and be given a chance to see how some of their favorite products are made. The Tamiya Fair will be accompanying the World Championship race allowing the finalists and the public a chance to see new product releases first, hear how designers come up with their ideas and
other activities.
