SWORKz S102 2WD Buggy – Nuremberg News

SWORKz has officially entered the 2WD buggy wars with the S102, which ticks off all the features you’d expect of a modern competition buggy and adds an SWORKz spin. Literally, in the case of the transmission, which uses a “simple gear insert” to allow a mid-motor or rear-motor configuration without swapping transmissions or chassis. No photos of the magic parts yet, but we’re interested! Other features include a 3mm 7075 chassis, bladderless “Pure Oil System” big-bore shocks, and a body designed specifically for the car and massaged “with rear grip and steering response in mind.” We’ll get an S102 on the track as soon as AMain.com brings them in.

From SWORKz:

Introducing the 1/10th SWORKz S102 pro 2wd buggy from the Nuremberg toy fair!

The S102 chassis platform was designed with the serious racer in mind. SWORKz incorporated a simple gear insert to switch from rear-motor to mid-motor configuration for maximum efficiency in all conditions. Chassis or transmission changes are not necessary.

The S102 features a 3mm 7075 chassis layout that allows for up to 10 different battery type and positions for any track condition.

SWORKz designed a Pure Oil System (no shock bladders) for a quicker shock response and improved suspension feel.

The S102 comes standard with the innovative Eaglet body. Designed with rear grip and steering response in mind. The Eaglet body provides a well balanced feel in both mid-motor and rear-motor configurations.

The S102 platform was designed from the ground up and is the perfect model for the serious racer and weekend hobbyist alike. Smart and efficient design incorporated with a cost-effective and user friendly platform was our primary goal from the beginning of the S102 project. We now introduce the SWORKz S102.
