The best way to maximize the suspension performance of your Traxxas 4Tec 2.0 is to upgrade the shocks. We are introducing a host of upgrades for the shocks that allows you to use the existing shock internal components and quickly change the shock package of your 4Tec 2.0 to the same level as high performance on-road touring cars. First are the threaded shock bodies with aluminum lower caps and o-ring installed shock collar. Aluminum shock bodies provides a much smoother shock action by reducing the friction between the shock piston and the inside of the shock bodies, while the threaded shock collars provides a much more precise increments of shock pre-load for the desire suspension feel and ride height. Next are CNC Machined Aluminum shock caps that features aluminum shock bushings included. These shock caps are more durable than plastic and less likely to strip off the shock bodies during a bad crash. The machined grips on the shock caps make it easy to handle during installation. Finally, the lower shock spring retainer fits more snugly in place over the lower shock mount and is less likely to pop off during a crash and with the light weight holes drilled it weighs no more than the plastic retainers.

Also available is a hardened steel solid axle for either the front or the rear diff of the Traxxas 4Tec 2.0. You can turn your 4Tec 2.0 into a drift machine by installing the solid axle in the rear diff or you can greatly increase the performance of the 4Tec 2.0 exiting the corner on a road course by installing it in the front diff. Finally we have the CNC Machined aluminum hex adapters that eliminates the brake disc setup to reduce the amount of unsprung weight and provides a more solid contact for the hex in the wheels to reduce the likelihood of the wheel hex stripping.
