Spektrum Releases New AVC Auto Calibration Firmware Update

Spektrum Releases New AVC Auto Calibration Firmware Update

From Spektrum:
AVC just got better with NEW AVC Auto Calibration!

A firmware update is now available for Spektrum Surface transmitters and AVC receivers that takes the hassle out of binding and calibrating AVC. In the past, drivers had to recalibrate AVC every time they wanted to bind a Spektrum Surface transmitter to their AVC receiver, which took time and was cumbersome. The latest innovation in AVC technology makes it easy to get driving with AVC Auto Calibration—a new and easier way for you to experience Spektrum AVC.

With this new update, there is no longer any need to manually calibrate the steering and throttle endpoints on your AVC receivers. These settings are now automatically communicated from the transmitter to the receiver, streamlining calibration and getting you started quickly. Spektrum AVC automatically initializes and calibrates the gyro system during binding. All you need to do is power on, bind your transmitter and receiver, place the vehicle flat and on its wheels, wait a few seconds and GO!

This update is now available for modern AVC receivers like the SR6100AT, SR6110AT and SR6200A (Firmware version 2.40.11)

To utilize this update you must have an up-to-date DX5C, DX5 Rugged or DX5 Pro (Raceware 2.03 or higher)
