Last weekend saw the close of the legendary SEMA show in Las Vegas, NV. The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) holds the show each year as the premier trade show for the full size aftermarket product industry as a venue to showcase the best work and hottest new performance parts to hit the car market. Along with all the cool big car swag on hand, SEMA can be a great place to spot some of the hottest companies in RC. The crossover between full size cars and RC is obvious but in recent years brands like Traxxas, Axial and others have taken full advantage of SEMA to showcase the products that make them leaders in their RC segments. Here’s a quick peek at some of the action from the SEMA Show 2012.
- Team Axial was on hand to show off their new SCX10 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon
- Axial’s new JK was on display in the Wilwood booth alongside the full size Jeep it was modeled after
- Ken Block was in the house signing autographs. SEMA is always packed full of celebrities ready to sign anything you can bring them.
- TORC star Rob MacCachren and motocross wiz kid Ashley Fiolek were in the Traxxas booth for a little meet and greet.
- Traxxas always has tons of star power in their booth. Courtney and John Force held it down with Robert Hight for Traxxas’ NHRA team.
- Not an RC. The real deal Ready Lift truck was on display along with tons of other off-roaders from both Lucas Oil and TORC series’.
- Now THAT’S one heck of a Hot Wheels!
- Ummmm… uhhhh… I’m going to need a minute.
