REDS Racing is excited to introduce a new super powerful 7 ports on-road engine called 721 Pista.

Why a new line of on-road engines?

REDS is always striving to innovate. This means investment into new core technologies. Drawing from the rich experience gained through competing on the world’s best RC tracks with the best drivers in the world, our goal is to deliver quality products that are built with passion. The new 721 Pista engine does this.

What are the tech specs?

The new 721 Pista engine features extreme power, high reliability and tuning stability. Combined with specific technical changes in the porting and new materials, this 7 ports engine features higher power and better fuel efficiency compared to any other engine. The new engine comes with a DLC Coated crankshaft and backplate for improved engine durability. The crankshaft can last approximately 3 times more than a standard crankshaft thanks to the extreme hardness of the diamond coating. Even the conrod life is lengthened about 50%.

What is new and different?

To make it simple REDS Racing’s new generation engine will be produced with different materials, from different suppliers and with new technologies. All assembled in-house.

New Crankcase design:

REDS Racing S line features a new and unique high stiffness crankcase design. It is all new materials and casting technology. The engine is produced with pressure die casting, this is a very high quality process. Previous generation M line crankcase was with gravity casting.

New Carburetor and Venturi:

Another big improvement is the brand new aluminum carburetor made from pressure die casting. We have decided to change carburetor materials from plastic to aluminum to further improve idle stability and tuning. On a technical note, the new carburetor is 30° inclined for better fluid dynamics to increase engine power.

New Materials:

S line features new materials for piston, sleeve and crankcase in order to optimize thermal expansion and improve power. The idea was to develop a high power engine even more powerful than Reds Racing old line (M Line) engines with exceptional fuel mileage. We have achieved this.

New 7 Ports Sleeve:

New high torque 7 ports sleeve for great torque and power output. Basically, the new exhaust boost design combined with the inlet ports layout ensures an increase in power on the whole RMP range.

We advise to use the new engine with 2113 pipe and M manifold and only with REDS original spare parts and accessories.
