Ready For The Challenge – Riding The Trails With Element RC’s Enduro12 Trail Truck Sendero RTR

It’s been proven that trucks smaller than 1/10 scale are capable of full-scale performance. To further prove the point, Element RC offers up the 1/12-scale Enduro12 Trail Truck Sendero RTR. Does it live up to its promise of bringing upsized crawling performance in a smaller package? Let’s find out.

As we took a deeper look into what makes this crawler perform, we found that this trail truck is packed with features that promise to elevate your off-road adventures to new heights—despite its small size.

The forward-biased motor mount ensures that the weight remains over the front tires, providing better grip when navigating rocky terrain.

INNER WORKINGS
At the core of the Enduro12 chassis is a three-gear transmission with a 13.98:1 ratio and an integrated motor mount. The forward-biased motor mount ensures that the weight remains over the front tires, providing better grip when navigating rocky terrain. This setup delivers useful power and torque, making easy work of challenging trails.

The four-link suspension design with metal pivot balls in the front and rear allows for a servo-on-axle (SOA) steering setup. Paired with metal steering links and pivot balls, this system offers precise and direct control over rough terrain, ensuring you stay on course no matter the obstacles.

The chassis features metal ring and pinion gears in the front and rear axles supported by the four-link front and rear suspension. The fluid-filled, threaded-body shocks provide ample damping and control over rough terrain, while the three-gear transmission allows for smooth and slow crawling speeds with plenty of torque.

Gripping the trail are high-performance tires molded in a soft-compound rubber with a scale tread pattern, mounted on chrome eight-hole faux-beadlock wheels. We noticed that these tires are mighty grippy on the trail.

Looking The Part
The Sendero12 Trail Truck body features a thermoformed high-strength polycarbonate one-piece cab and bed design, detailed decals, and an injection-molded front bumper. An extra decal sheet is included, offering optional overlanding graphics and sponsor logos for a custom look.

It’s big enough to feel substantial yet small enough to enjoy in tighter spaces, such as a backyard. With all the included features packed into one box, at an all-in price of less than $200, the Enduro12 Trail Truck is affordable and ready to get you on the trail. Are you ready for the adventure?
