Shocks Brand and Model Rear anodised Traxxas ultrashocks limited with limit straps and filled with thick oil.
Front shocks from Tamiya road car also tuned for small travel motion
Axles Brand and Model To handle the high speed and high torque launches I used Traxxas Magnum 272 transmission.
Fitted with 48 pitch traxxas pinion 30tooth and a Traxxas spur gear 73 tooth full sealed traxxas ball bearings throughout custom full steel telescoping drive shafts fitted.
Paint Brand and Model Body moulded in black with blue flames
Graphics Brand and Model Standard traxxas Skully logos / decals
Scale Accessories Brand and Model Hemi engine is custom made from foam and cardboard for engine block, painted with Tamiya red and silver enamel, cardboard straws painted in Tamiya black chrome paint used for headers to keep weight low, top half of engine from a model engine (muscle machines brand)

Radio System Brand and Model Traxxas TQi 2.4 GHz 4ch radio

Other Options Brand and Model Custom wheelie bar created from 4mm carbon fibre rods positioned glued and screwed to standard rear brace of magnum 272 transmission then painted in Tamiya black, small Lego rims and tires used for end of wheelie bar
Further Description/Back Story Bandit chassis has had internals shaved to accommodate Nimh batteries in sideways position close to rear tires for better traction on road.
Front shock suspension mount is custom made 5mm reinforcement rod for high speed load stresses, front bandit lower arms turned around to create longer wheel base

This project has taken 3 months to build and tune and building all the custom fabrication and modifications to represent my favourite type of real life drag cars the funny car style Altered blown cars
