Further Description/Back Story | Bought a used arrma typhon chassis on eBay and started my journey of trying to make an all in one totally convertible modular bashing vehicle. I chose the typhon 3s line due to the fact they use this long wheel base in 3 different models of truck and the fact it was close in size to the Traxxas slash which was my first vehicle. I got a 2wd slash and converted it to drag car so I had the slash body sitting around. I love the look of the monster slash conversion everyone does and didn’t want to go buy another 4×4 slash just to use it. So I started experimenting with parts from arrma and turns out the mount posts for the senton are nearly identical to the ones on the slash as far as length. I had to modify one for the mounts for clearance and that’s all. I also have a armma big rock body and of course the original typhon it came with. I had to convert the stub axles to 14mm for the tires To work and do some upgrades to the ball joints as well as add a big rock bumper front and back. So I now have an arrma typhon/big rock/senton/Traxxas slash…..technically |
