Further Description/Back Story This is my first rock crawler kit. I got into the hobby back in Jan this year when I ran into couple of people driving their rock crawlers at Bean Hollow beach. That awoke my RC hobby interest. I used to enjoy RC buggy (Tamiya Boomerang, Kyosho Turbo Optima Mid) back when I was a teenager. I bought couple of entry level crawlers for my daughters and myself to start and all of us enjoy it. So in March, with part of my tax refund, I ordered the Element RC kit and all the parts from my LHS. I was waiting for the radio system when the shelter-in-place order was issued. So I had to wait a further 3 weeks before my LHS started shipping packages out again. I spent a weekend assembling the truck and another weekend painting the shell. Then due to shelter-in-place order I only got to drive it around my front yard. I added a few upgrade soon after as the VS4-10 front bumper doesn't have good entry angle and I replaced it with a Yeah Racing stinger bumper. I drilled new holes in the bumper so it will go as close to the chassis as possible. A few SSD brass parts and the truck drives amazingly at Bean Hollow beach last weekend!
