DRIVETRAIN
The R3 Single Speed Transmission comes with a tough cast metal case and wider gears to allow for more abuse along with a Delrin Spur with Slipper Clutch. It also features a sturdy billet aluminum motor mount for durability.
The Terrain RTR includes the Hammer Transfer Case. Packed with scale detail, the case features a cast metal exterior and heavy duty .8 Mod Widened Gears for durability.
The Terrain RTR Drivetrain boasts one of the most durable gear sets RC4WD has to offer. With unmatched scale details and craftsmanship you can trust, these CNC machined and hardened steel gears will make sure the Terrain RTR will stay on the trail, day after day.
The K44 Ultimate Cast Scale Axles have been designed from the ground up with input from some of the top scale builders in the world. Featuring smaller axle tubes, higher steering knuckles, XVD axles and many other cutting edge features never before found on a set of radio control scale axles!
The Driveshafts for the Terrain RTR are designed with heavy duty metal uni-joints with tough plastic shafts for great driveline angles and durability on the trails.
SUSPENSION
The Terrain RTR Chassis features a molded fuel cell that doubles as an electronics storage box. There is also an aluminum, frame-mounted under cab electronics tray for multiple electronics mounting options!
The Dual Spring 80MM Scale Shocks are ready for any adventure. These oil shocks are performance oriented featuring dual springs and can be tuned for any driving style.
The Terrain RTR Chassis is a machined billet aluminum ladder frame designed with a 4 link rear and 3 link panhard bar suspension. Featuring scale shock hoops, chassis mounted servo and 4 body mounts for maximum strength.
The Terrain RTR includes a set of OEM Stamped Steel 1.9″ Beadlock Wheels in Black. These steel stamped wheels feature amazing details in the popular 6 lug design.
Every Terrain RTR needs a tough set of tires and the included Prowler XS (Xtreme Scale) 1.9″ Edition Tires deliver the perfect amount of traction with its advanced X3 soft & sticky compound. The scale details complete the look in just the right size.
DETAILS
The Terrain features our Crusher Body Set. The Crusher Body Set showcases a Four Door Heavy Duty Truck Body with beefy, full size scale details throughout.
With a heavy duty and dependable platform, we needed an equally impressive body to match. Thus, to maximize the scale realism of this body, we included a fully integrated chrome bumper/grill combo on the Crusher Body Set to provide an “all business” look. Game face? Check!
At RC4WD, the scale realism does not stop. The Crusher Body Set comes with custom, professionally pre-painted digital flames as a standard. This graphic is tougher than any other paint or decal.
The Crusher Body does not skimp on any details. The lexan body comes fully loaded with features like the semi-sunken bed, fender flares, chrome tool box, sunken door handles, tinted windows and a rear bumper for a complete and totally enviable look.
The high definition scale decal set is a must to top off the finishing touches on the Crusher Body Set. With perfectly scale decals for the headlights, tail lights, grill, door handles, running lights and windshield wipers, your Terrain RTR w/Crusher Body Set will be the King of the Trails!
ELECTRONICS
The Terrain RTR includes a high quality XR3 3-Channel 2.4Ghz Radio System. Use the third channel to control a winch and add even more fun to your scale adventure!
The Terrain RTR is powered by the RC4WD 35 Turn Crawler Motor. With its sealed endbell for increased durability and long lasting performance, you’re sure to get where you’re going!
The Terrain RTR features the popular RC4WD Outcry II Waterproof ESC Brushed Speed Controller with built-in drag brake for reliable, constant power on demand. Anytime.
