March RC Car Action On Sale Now With Bonus “Trail & Scale” Section

It’s March! Not really, but if you’re talking “newsstand time,” then yeah, it’s March. That means you’ll find this issue hot off the presses and inside your mailbox (or on your tablet/phone/tricorder for you digital subscribers). The March issue is loaded, and features a first for RCCA: there’s a sand rail on the cover! It’s the Vaterra Glamis Fear to be precise, and our man Aaron Waldron has the full review.

Cover shot by Jason Boulanger. Nice.

Where better to test the Glamis Fear than the dunes of Glamis? We’ve got six pages on this bad boy.

“Classic Plastic” will be a recurring feature, and it kicks off this issue with the Tamiya Egress. in addition to reviewing the latest re-releases like this machine, we’ll showcase actual vintage survivors from back in the day. Anything special you’d like to see? Hit us up at

The 20-page “Trail & Scale” section features a review of this outstanding scale machine, the RC4WD Gelande II with Defender D90 body. Short of an actual 2.2 liter turbo diesel under the hood, this truck is as real as RC gets–it even has a full interior.

Shopping for a do-it-all brushless power system? The Novak Crusher is worth a a look–you’ll find the full review inside.

The Trail & Scale section also features a Traxxas Telluride makeover with a bunch pf Pro-Line gear and a bit of fabric dye.

Trail stuff too slow for you? No worries, we haven’t forgotton how to go fast–neither has TLR, as the our review of the new 22 2.0 will attest.

That’s just a small taste of the March issue, there’s lots more between the covers. Head to the newsstand now–or better yet, subscribe!
