Picturesque Tamiya Clod Buster by Scott DelFino [Reader’s Ride]

Picturesque Tamiya Clod Buster by Scott DelFino [Reader’s Ride]

There are many ways to get your rig into Reader’s Rides. A cool truck or car is a must, of course. But killer photos are just as key, and Scott DelFino’s scenic sunset snaps of his Tamiya Clod Buster on a Florida beach jumped out at us immediately. Scott’s ‘Buster is mostly stock and very old-school, with ESP aluminum servo savers front and back, a full set of Boca bearings, and a Tekin Titan speed control running the stock Tamiya motors. He rigged up a custom 3rd channel toggle and servo to switch between 2WD and 4WD, and he added a locker for his rear diff. He tells us he is waiting on the arrival of the next mod—a Crawford vertical servo mount. Scott’s truck just goes to show that a great truck can be timeless. If you want tips on shooting your car or truck, check out the video at the bottom of this page!
