Here's the official word from XRAY:
XRAY is proud to announce that top American R/C racer Josh Cyrul has joined Team XRAY to support the team and represent at all international races. Josh is a long-time top RC racer, having been racing and winning for over 16 years.Josh is a full time R/C driver and engineer, and has won over 30 ROAR and NORRCA National Championships in most nitro and electric on-road classes from 1/12th scale to 1/8th scale.

Here is what Josh said about his joining Team XRAY:
'I am extremely happy to be racing for Team XRAY!! With the quality of XRAY cars as well as their desire and dedication to the R/C industry it was a very simple choice for me. I want to take the time to thank XRAY for their interest in me, and I hope to bring them the best results both on and off the track.'

Team Associated driver Jared Tebo took the win in the 2WD Mod class at the Pro-Line/RC Car Action Cactus Classic in Scottsdale, AZ, which proves the well-known nitro specialist is an equally talented electric racer. Team Trinity's Ryan Cavalieri won Mod Truck, while Ryan Mayfield finished first in 4WD with his J-Concepts buggy. What do these three drivers have in common? They’re all 19 years old or younger.

Trinity Reflex touring car to debut at Reedy Race MAY 2001

We know for certain that Trinity is currently developing electric and nitro touring platforms to be dubbed the Reflex T and Reflex NT. Jim Dieter, Trinity's motor man, accomplished designer, and skilled racer in his own right, is said to be the primary architect of the project (you may remember Trinity used the Reflex name for a Jim Dieter-designed dirt oval car back in the day). It's rumored that ace driver Josh Cyrul will race a test mule at the upcoming Reedy Touring Car Race of Champions. When we get more information on the cars' details, we'll be sure to let you know, but in the meantime Trinity has confirmed that the nitro-powered Reflex will be the first to hit the shelves.

Corally Wins ROAR Carpet On-Road Nats

Team Corally's Chris Tosolini gives a victory salute (and a great plug for Airtronics) after winning Touring Mod at the ROAR Carpet Nats, held at West Haven CT's Hobby Chamber. The event also saw victories for Team Trinity/XRAY's Mike Dumas in 19T Touring, and the first-ever win for a brushless system at a ROAR nats as Team Associated's Jon Orr won 1/12 Mod using an LRP Sphere and Reedy NEO-1 brushless combo.
