Irvine, CA – March 10, 2008 – Novak is giving R/C drivers more racing options by combining the popular SS17.5 Pro Brushless Motor with both the versatile GTB Programmable Racing Brushless/Brush ESC and the sleek GTB 4-Cell Programmable Racing Brushless/Brush ESC. The recently approved systems for ROAR Stock spec class races – the GTB/SS17.5 Pro Brushless System (#3017) and GTB 4-Cell/SS17.5 Pro Brushless System (#3047) – are factory-wired and are race-ready straight out of the box. Look for these SS 17.5 Pro Stock systems at all ROAR-sanctioned races!
Both GTB Racing ESCs complement the SS17.5 Pro motor with their user-friendly interface and four different color status LEDs to create a system dedicated to providing optimum performance for all R/C drivers. The GTB is compatible with all Novak 540-size sensored-brushless motors, and the GTB 4-Cell is specifically designed for 4-cell NiMH applications, such as 1/12-scale on-road and 1/12 or 1/10-scale pan car oval. The GTBs have no brushed motor limit and six completely programmable throttle profiles. They also use exclusive lightweight MOSFET technology, allowing for the highest power density to create the ultimate speed control for brushless and brushed motor performance.
The SS 17.5 Pro brushless motor is equipped with all of the great standard features found on all Novak motors, including a ROAR-approved, Nickel-plated Sintered Neodymium rotor for improved performance; a set of ribbed, aluminum end bells to remove excessive heat from the motor; convenient Solder Tab System for easy wire replacement; Sensor-Based Technology for excellent starting torque, low-speed drivability and smooth acceleration; and the same Oversized Front Bearing used in Novak’s Velociti-series motors that is more rugged, extra durable and helps extend motor life.

Irvine, CA – March 10, 2008 –On February 15, 2008 ROAR announced that Novak’s SS10.5 Pro and SS13.5 Pro Brushless Motors have been approved for Super Stock Class racing, and Novak’s SS17.5 Pro Motor has also been approved for Stock Class racing. Novak’s brushless motors were the first brushless motors to be approved.
ROAR SUPER STOCK CLASS. Formerly known as the “19T Class”, ROAR’s Super Stock classes will now allow 10.5 and 13.5 sensored brushless motors that have been ROAR-approved. The Novak ROAR-approved SS10.5 Pro (#3410) and SS13.5 Pro (#3413) brushless motors feature a high-strength nickel-plated sintered rotor, an oversized bearing, a colored timing ring, and are rebuildable.
ROAR STOCK CLASS. ROAR’s Stock class will now allow 17.5 sensored brushless motors that have been ROAR-approved. Novak was the first to develop and ship a 17.5 sensored brushless motor for the R/C car market, and the ROAR-approved SS17.5 Pro (#3417) brushless motor is currently available. With its rebuildable design and high-end performance, the SS17.5 Pro brushless motor is an ideal choice for stock class racing.
