Nicholas Brien’s custom Clod won us over not only for the great looks and long list of upgrades, but also because Nicholas sent us this pic of him bombing through the mud with it, and we respect anyone with a truck this nice who is still willing to drive it hard! Power comes from a pair of Traxxas Velineon VXL systems equipped with cooling fans and fed by twin Traxxas 7-cell 5000mAh NiMH packs. Traxxas supplied the dual waterproof high-torque steering servos too. RC4WD dished up the B&H tires on chrome Clod wheels with CPE bead lock rings and RC4WD wheel wideners. It rides on a CPE 12-inch wheelbase chassis with carbon fiber 4-link and shock mounts. He vinyl-wrapped the stock Clod body and installed a replica engine and 3D-printed puller-style headers.
