JConcepts Shorty LiPo Battery Storage Box

JConcepts Shorty LiPo Battery Storage Box

From JConcepts:

Being organized is the name of the game. The best organized, best prepared racers are typically the ones reaching for that top step of the podium. JConcepts has reached into their bag of tricks to help racer organization. The shorty storage box is not lipo safe or a locker for hazardous long-term goods but an attempt to align and tighten up the goods while in the pits or on the go.

The storage box has a small footprint which makes it ideal for short trips with minimal amounts of space. Inside the box is roomy enough for three shorty batteries and cushioned with high-impact foam that allow the batteries to lay in a bed like a cradle during rest periods. The foam insert has built-in areas which allow finger tip access top and bottom for that necessary grabby feel.  The custom built storage box, molded black in color has logo for authenticity and built-in plastic latch for easy open and close operation.

  • Innovative design, durable material
  • High-impact and steady foam cradle
  • Finger tip and grip access
  • Handy, built-in latch
  • Not lipo safe or recommended for long-term storage

  1. not lipo safe yet clearly has lipos in the box and is listed as a “shorty” box. forgive me but i have never seen a Ni-Mh “shorty” and showing a pic of the case with 3x lipos shorty packs in it is contradictary to “not lipo safe”

    1. What they mean is that this is not a LiPo safe, long term storage container. So it is not fire proof to charge your packs in & not good to store your LiPos in weeks at a time. More of a way to store your LiPos securely as you travel too and from the track.

They said “shorty” since there are longer LiPo packs still made (think Traxxas) that still resemble the traditional 6 cell stock packs in size.
