JConcepts Gear: B44.1 Low Profile Aluminum Wing Mounts, Weight Sets, Yellow Hazard SC Wheels, And Replacement Glue Tips

As we told you first back in March, JConcepts now offers their popular Hazard short course wheels in “Kinwald” yellow, plus they now also offer trick looking chassis weights with a carbon fiber appearance.  They have also officially released a B44.1 low profile aluminum wing mount and replacement glue tips.  Check out the press release below for all the details:

B44.1 low-profile aluminum rear wing mounts

Wing height is an important adjustment on all vehicles and remains important to jump and cornering characteristics. During the 2011 IFMAR World Championships, Ryan Maifield used a prototype lowered wing mount with success on his B44.1 buggy while taking the Top Qualifying position at the largest 1/10th off-road event in the world. JConcepts introduces the aluminum, low-profile, rear wing mount specifically for the B44 buggy, allowing the racer to lower the rear wing by a full 7mm.

The low-profile rear wing mount is machined from heavy-duty 6061 T6 aluminum to the exact and unique B44 specifications which allows for easy attachment, use and maintenance. The wing attachment platform maintains the stock angle and geometry and accepts the standard plastic wedge shim used to adjust tuning angle. The low-profile design gives the vehicle a more sleek appearance and maintains more consistent jump characteristics and during wind gust activity.

Hazard 12mm hex SC wheels now in yellow

Short Course trucks have evolved into high-performance racing vehicles and adjustability is always the key to success. Introducing the Hazard 12mm hex wheel for the SC10 4×4 and SC10 by JConcepts. A powerful new look that combines the winning combination of a 10 spoke design, bead-lock appearance and center lug nut detail with a hint of inspiration from yesteryear. The Hazard will make an immediate impact on the performance of the SC10 trucks by widening the stance of the truck by 6mm in overall width. The increased width will maximize the SC10 and bring it up to the ROAR maximum legal limits in dimensional width.

Replacement glue straws

An accessory drivers never seem to have enough of in the pits are extra glue straws for the .7oz popular sized glue bottle. Typically 1 straw will last several weekends or more, however, under certain conditions, they seem to get lost in the shuffle or cleaned incorrectly leaving the racer without at a key time. Stock-up on glue tips so you never get caught in a pinch during a long race outing.
