The Max8 G2 ESC is the most sought-after ESC on the market. It’s dynamic and dominant specifications meets the needs of power-hungry users. It has a strong output power with excellent linearity at low speed and is operating on full-sensored mode.

SMART technology effectively reduces overall temperature

SMART technology, developed by Hobbywing, creates higher drive efficiency and a lower operating temperature. The temperature is now 25°C cooler compared to the previous generation of the MAX8.This increases the overall reliability of the ESC.

Efficient cooling system

The frameless fan design is a patented technology. The rapid transmission of internal heat to the integrated housing radiator are made up of high airflow from the side of the fan and a copper thermal conduction sink on the internal power plate. These are built into high-reliability thermal systems to ensure that it is always in good thermal condition.

1/8th Brushless System Turbo Technology

The current brushless system is best paired with the EzRun 4268/4278 SD G2 to achieve the maximum performance. The turbo parameter is adjustable from up to 32 degrees and the speed is significantly increased by up to 25%.

Capacitor thermal protection implemented by the ESC will effectively prevent capacitors from exploding and causing irreversible damage to the ESC due to overload.

A perfect combination EzRun 4268/4278 G2 Motor

Perfect compatibility when used with EzRzun 4268/4278 G2 motors. Ensures motor is protected against overheating to avoid damage.

Applicable to All Weather Track Conditions

The IP-67 system guarantees excellent waterproofing and dustproofing protection. The whole power system is able to drive on a variety of surfaces including muddy, sandy, icy, snowy and water without damaging the power unit.

Super Built-in BEC

The ESC has a built-in BEC which can support a maximum output current of up to 15A and the output voltages are switchable between 6V, 7.4V and 8.4V. This ensures that the ESC is able to support the demanding high-torque servos in the market.

Built-in Big Capacitor

The ESC has three built-in 680uF capacitors, which increases the performance by 74% (870uF) compared to the MAX8 ESC. The ultra-large capacitors built onto the ESC also ensures users do not need to install external capacitors on for most vehicles.

New sensored cable interface

The Max8 G2 ESC is equipped with a new type of sensored cable interface. It is high recommended to use the motors from Hobbywing as the waterproof protection level is at the highest level (IP67).
